How's your coffee?
I walked down the street and let the
sunshine illuminated my face
The empty street and long winding
road kept me wondering, “how’s your day baby cake?”
I put my earphones on and listened to
my favorite song
The feels began crawling and made me
want to sing along
If you were here, I would share one
of my earphones even the music would feel a bit wrong
Yet when you were here I bet I wouldn’t feel this all alone
Long winding road was empty
A plainsong I was playing making me a
bit thirsty
A cup of coffee from the store we used to be would definitely help me breath
easy
But I had no one to share this bitter
sweet tasty coffee without you here baby
I walked down the street and the
sunshine was trying to warm the day
“How's your coffee baby?"
If you asked me, mine was quite hazy.
